These still run to some extent a profitable business in spite of their small company size, if they are highly specialized niche players.

The requirements for project placing within large-scale industries and the public sector have gone higher in recent years. A minimum number of employees, revenue, and capital resources are gaining significant attention. This trend will continue. Large and medium-sized engineering companies will continue trying to improve their market position through organic growth and acquisition of smaller offices.
